First time Reading The Lord of the Rings & The hobbit

I’ll be reading The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit for the very first time in my life. I’m a huge fantasy lover, so I think it’s time I read the books that set the trend for this amazing genre.

I have seen the movies though, from which I liked the Hobbit movies more than the lord of the rings movies. I think this might be because of the time frame in which they were filmed/made. But I don’t know – I find the first lord of the rings movie a bit boring? Hahaha. But oh well, that says absolutely nothing about the books – so I’ll definitely give it an honest chance!

I have bought this amazing collection of faux letter-bound pockets. I got this boxset from bookdepository. The collection is pretty cheep for the looks, so I definitely recommend them! Although, the letters are pretty small – so if you have bad eyesight I don’t think you’ll like it ;). Maybe only for the looks then?
