How I got into Blogging

How I got into Blogging

For the people who don’t know, I started my first blog back in 2012. It was a fashion and lifestyle blog, inspired by all the fashion bloggers I had found on Instagram back then. Instagram was new to me, back then, as I think it was for a lot of people! I used it on my iPod touch—who remembers that time? When I was in New York, I found Chiara Ferragni on Instagram and devoured her blog ‘The Blonde Salad’ religiously. After coming home from that trip to the USA, I started the blog—and my life was forever changed.

Planning as an inconsistent, sacral generator

If you’re thinking: what the hell are you talking about? You’re probably not alone. Last year I got into Human Design and learned that I was a generator. There are a couple of types and it’s super interesting (look into it, if you feel called to), but the majority of people around the world are generators. If you want to look up what type you are, go here: https://myhumandesign.com/
I happen to be an inconsistent, sacral generator—and it shows. Inconsistent means that I thrive by doing what I want to do at the moment and not living by strict schedules. Inconsistency has to do with the four arrows that are in your Human Design chart. If you want to learn more about this online, just search for ‘the arrows in human design’ or something. But this inconsistency is somewhat hard to manage because I thrive on making schedules and plans. Somehow, I never seem to be able to stick to them, though.
sacral generator is a person who needs to act on their gut. I need to act on my first gut response. And no, not everybody works this way.
However, I started a new way of planning. Instead of scheduling my plans in my digital calendar, I now make a big list of all the things I want to do this week. Then I just wake up and look at the things I want to do today, and do them in the way and order that feels best.

The Devil in Spring (The Ravenels #3 by Lisa Kleypas)

I’m at book 3 in the series now. I absolutely love this one so far! Here’s the synopsis:
An eccentric wallflower…
Most debutantes dream of finding a husband. Lady Pandora Ravenel has different plans. The ambitious young beauty would much rather stay at home and plot out her new board game business than take part in the London Season. But one night at a glittering society ball, she’s ensnared in a scandal with a wickedly handsome stranger.
A cynical rake…
After years of evading marital traps with ease, Gabriel, Lord St. Vincent, has finally been caught by a rebellious girl who couldn’t be less suitable. In fact, she wants nothing to do with him. But Gabriel finds the high-spirited Pandora irresistible. He’ll do whatever it takes to possess her, even if their marriage of convenience turns out to be the devil’s own bargain.
A perilous plot…
After succumbing to Gabriel’s skilled and sensuous persuasion, Pandora agrees to become his bride. But soon she discovers that her entrepreneurial endeavors have accidentally involved her in a dangerous conspiracy—and only her husband can keep her safe. As Gabriel protects her from their unknown adversaries, they realize their devil’s bargain may just turn out to be a match made in heaven…
