Things that’ve been on my mind lately
In the Reading and Watching department! I’m going to share with you some of the things that I’ve currently been really invested by.
The Book
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin. This book is absolutely amazing! I love the entire vibe and plot of this book so, so much. The second book will be released later this year and I’m so excited for that. I’m almost finished with the book and I highly recommend this book to any YA Fantasy lovers.
Here’s the synopsis:
Bound as one to love, honor, or burn.
Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned.
Sworn to the Church as a Chasseur, Reid Diggory has lived his life by one principle: thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. His path was never meant to cross with Lou’s, but a wicked stunt forces them into an impossible union—holy matrimony.
The war between witches and Church is an ancient one, and Lou’s most dangerous enemies bring a fate worse than fire. Unable to ignore her growing feelings, yet powerless to change what she is, a choice must be made.
And love makes fools of us all.

The Movie
A couple of weeks ago, I went to the movie “Little Women” which was absolutely brilliant. The Movie is an adaptation of the book written by Louisa May Alcott. The (amazing) actors and actresses made this movie the best it could possibly be. Heart warming and heart breaking, it is all you could ask for.

The Tv Show
I know, I know. It has been a few months already – but still – I wanted to touch on this series, because I hadn’t yet done that on my blog.
I loved this Netflix original SO freaking much, that it nearly filled the gaping hole that Game of Thrones left behind. If you haven’t yet watched it, and you are a Fantasy lover, please try it. Just try it – if only for the amazing music and scores!

Lots of Love,
