Top 5 YA books I want to see made into movies
In this post I am going to share what YA books I want to see made into movies!
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
This is the first (and maybe also number 1) book I want to see being made into a movie. I know that the rights have already been sold, so there might be a chance of this movie actually happening! The thing I’m scared of most, though, is the casting. I feel like this fandom has already established what the characters look like and SHOULD look like. It’s easy to disappoint and really hard to satisfy us – but definitely not impossible.

Legend by Marie Lu
Legend is such a classic for me. It was one of the first books that got me into reading. I still love it so much, especially after Rebel released beginning of this month. This movie would be a dream to see on the screen. And I even think they could execute this movie freaking damn good.

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
The cruel prince is such a rich and livid story, that it could only become an explosion of colors and impressions on the screen. The main characters are all so diverse (in looks) and the story has a lot of potential for screen. Especially this world would be so beautiful to see in real life.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Surprise, surprise. For once I included BOTH Sarah’s series into my bookish posts… But for real though. They are my favorite series for a reason. I love this story to death and I would be the happiest girl in the world to see this book series on screen. This series has already been picked up and will be adapted into a tv-series called ‘Queen of Shadows’, named after the fourth book in the series. They already started on the script and I really, really hope they will actually start filming it any time soon!

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
And then I mean all four books. They’re all so intertwined that adapting only one book to screen wouldn’t make much sense. Yes, it would be so much fun, but people who haven’t read the books wouldn’t get it. It’s important to make the stories the best they can.
These were the YA books I want to see made into movies! What are some books you would love to see on screen?
Lots of Love,
